Signs outside a teachers door recognize adopted student atheletes. I visited Ms. Key in her classroom on day during the rotational period, and I saw my name on her wall, Journee Glasby, freshman, said. I got very excited because one of my teachers from before said I was adopted but I didnt know who. I had to find out on my own. It just made me feel like our relationship was special and that I was loved.

Five Students Reach Sectionals

May 19, 2014

After competing in districts on Saturday May 17, 2014, at Lutheran South High School, five members of the boys track team have qualified and moved on to compete at sectionals on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Rockwood Summit High School. The events that they will compete in are:

  • 300m Hurdles and 110m Hurdles — Emmai Brown, senior
  • 100m — Ronnell Perkins, junior
  • Pole Vault — Gianni Cook, senior
  • 4x100m relay – Thompson Brown, junior; Keeson Taylor, freshman; Emmai Brown , senior; and Ronnell Perkins, junior.
