The U. City Boys Basketball team edged out Hazelwood East on Friday, Dec 3, with a final score of 66-64. Hazelwood kept a few point lead over the Lions, until the fourth quarter, when the Lions pulled it together and racked up 22 points. Junior Travon Williams scored twenty nine of the team’s points. Brandon Wagner and Prince Cody showed their teamwork skill this game, with 4 assists each.
Mainly due to a disastrous first quarter, the U. City Girls Basketball team did not fare as well, loosing to Hazelwood East by 9 points, with a final score of 46-55.
