Three University City students attended the Ronnie Burrage Drum Workshop on Saturday March 2. Burrage is an alumni of U. City High School and provided scholarships to the students who attended the workshop.
Seventh grader Marco Gillilpie, freshman Kaitlynn Douglass, and sophomore Rebekah Lyons are the students who attended the workshop.
The chance to attend the workshop with Burrage, “one of the best jazz musicians on the world scene today,” was a very special occasion indeed.
