Athletic “ROARport” from Director Kish

Athletic director Chad Kish sent out his weekly “ROARport”, providing a quick update of U. City’s sports:

The Wrestling team competed in the MSHSAA District Tournament at Fort Zumwalt East this past weekend. The team had a great showing with several wrestlers in the second day of the tournament with a chance to go to the MSHSAA Missouri State Wrestling Championships. Jeremiah Hathorn finished 2nd in the 145 pound weight class and Tarique Jefferson finished 3rd at 215 pounds. They have both qualified for the State Championships and will be competing at Mizzou Arena (Columbia, MO) on Thursday through Saturday (February 17-19).

The Girls Swim team will finish the season with Senior Night and Staff
Appreciation Night today with a home meet vs. Barat Academy at the UCHS Natatorium. If you haven’t come to watch the girls swim this winter, stop by the 4:15 meet and cheer for the LIONS as they wrap up their season.
