On Saturday, February 24, the U. City boys basketball team won their district game 73-72.
Trailing by two points in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, Travon Williams took the ball up the length of the court and shot the ball at the three-point line–hitting nothing but net to boost U. City to a spectacular win. This is the first time the boys basketball team has won districts since 1986.
A video of the winning shot can be found on the KSDK website.
