On the morning of Tues., Aug. 15, students were greeted by staff and alumni lining a red carpet to the front door. Students received high fives while the Golden Girls danced to the beat of the drumline. As students stepped of the buses, they were welcomed with spirit from the cheerleaders.

A few seniors, including Ashlynn Jenkins, arrived to school at 5:50 am to watch the sun rise over the front of the school building.

“ We really wanted to commemorate the beginning of our last year together,” Jenkins said.
