Golden Lion Award Ceremony

More than 60 students were honored by their teachers at the Golden Lion award ceremony on May 13. Each teacher was given the opportunity to honor one outstanding student with an award. The students were unaware of which teacher would be presenting them with the awards until the ceremony began. Students were called up one by one with their teachers and presented with a medal and a letter explaining why they were chosen. After the brief ceremony in the auditorium, students and teachers had the opportunity to enjoy pizza in the main hallway.
