Last Friday, February 1, the U. City Lions boys basketball team played an away game against Summit, losing 40-77.
Top scorers for the game were Rashod Richards, with 10 points; Montreal Andrews, with 9 points; Ricky Robinson and Darian Brown, with 5 points.
Their season record is 7 wins, 13 losses and their next game is Monday, February 4 at Clayton.
The girls basketball team also played on Friday night, playing a home game against Summit. They also lost, 24-53.
Their season record is 1 win, 17 losses and their next game is Tuesday, February 5 at Hazelwood Central.
Also upcoming are Districts for boys wrestling and the Conference meet for girls swimming, which will be held next weekend.
